US judge suggests less experienced attorneys be chosen for FedEx trial

During a pretrial conference, U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White in Oakland said he prefers “junior lawyers, lawyers who are women and women of color so that we can have more diversity” but assured that his decision making will not be influenced by whether his recommendation is heeded.
