Plaintiffs’ appeal loss to Sutter Health, blast magistrate judge ‘errors’

Constantine Cannon LLP partner Matthew L. Cantor argued in his opening brief to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that U.S. Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler made a string of errors that prevented the federal jury in San Francisco from hearing all the evidence against the hospital chain.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys blasted U.S. Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler in their appeal of a San Francisco federal jury verdict against them in an antitrust lawsuit against Sutter Health.
