Doctors sue to stop law penalizing COVID ‘misinformation’

“Disagreement is integral to the progress of medical science, a value that cannot be served by using the power of the state to punish those who dissent from the official line,” wrote Daniel R. Suhr, managing partner of the Liberty Justice Center.

Assembly Bill 2098 was signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sept. 30 and designates the dissemination of “misinformation” about the coronavirus as “unprofessional conduct” by doctors.
