Cyber lawyers consider impact of Uber executive’s conviction

General company practices have changed since the Uber breach that led to conviction of its former security chief on federal charges.

Lawyers with cybersecurity practices and other experts in the industry are divided about what impact the successful prosecution of a former executive at Uber Technologies Inc. for hiding a data breach would have.
