Apple can seal 93% of documents in trade secrets lawsuit

The plaintiff, Envirodigm Inc., argued that it must see Apple’s manufacturing processes in order to verify its claims that the tech giant misappropriated its design for a scratch resistant aluminum shell that has been a staple of Apple’s iPhone.

Apple Inc. secured a discovery victory in Santa Clara County Superior Court Tuesday as Judge Christopher G. Rudy granted the company’s motion to seal documents it claims hold valuable trade secrets that could harm the world’s richest business if revealed.
