Lawyer admits retaliation against US judge, marshal
Perris attorney Thaddeus J. Culpepper admitted to taking out false liens on the property of U.S. Magistrate Judge Frederick F. Mumm, who was overseeing the bank fraud case, and the U.S. marshal supervising him in detention. He pleaded guilty to both counts on Oct. 5 and is likely to be sentenced to time served on Nov. 14.
