Trump knew voter fraud claims in Georgia were inaccurate, judge says
U.S. District Judge David O. Carter wrote that Trump was "more likely than not engaged in or planning an obstruction of an official proceeding ... and a conspiracy to defraud the United States ... when he sought the advice of Dr. Eastman."




In ordering former Chapman University Fowler School of Law professor John C. Eastman to turn over documents to the Jan. 6 committee, a Santa Ana federal judge concluded Wednesday that then-President Donald Trump and his lawyers knew allegations of voter fraud in Georgia were inaccurate but included them in a complaint anyway.
