A Los Angeles home builder has won the right to disregard zoning measures that prevented her from building a 67-unit apartment on a lot zoned for single-family use in a decision that could dramatically increase housing in the city.
"The city refused to accept development applications for high-density housing on a single-family-zoned lot, and we pushed back," attorney for the plaintiffs Ryan J. Patterson said in a news release.
