News nonprofit gets $2M settlement for fees in anti-SLAPP case
The settlement reached this month ended the six-year libel dispute and includes an agreement by Planet Aid to pay $1.925 million and release its claims against the news organization and its journalists in return for it releasing requests for fees.




The Center for Investigative Reporting achieved the largest-ever settlement of a fees dispute under California's anti-SLAPP statute.
