San Joaquin County judge censured over drunken driving accident
The Commission on Judicial Performance determined Judge Michael J. Mulvihill had driven under the influence of alcohol, caused an accident, attempted to leave the scene, made false statements to bystanders, misled law enforcement officers about the accident and underreported to them the amount he had drunk. The censure was stipulated.




The Commission on Judicial Performance issued a stipulated public censure Thursday of Judge Michael J. Mulvihill of the San Joaquin County Superior Court for his behavior after an accident caused by drunken driving.
