Lawyers, judge debate fiduciary duty as 1st Girardi jury trial is set
Long Beach attorney Robert P. Finn’s counsel — Ronald Richards and Ezra D. Landes — repeatedly pushed back on Judge Richard L. Fruin’s assertions that charges of breach of fiduciary duty weren’t properly alleged in the complaint.




The first jury trial stemming from charges against former attorney Thomas V. Girardi and his firm, Girardi Keese, is scheduled to begin in two weeks, although a debate continues between counsel and the Superior Court judge on the merits of breach of fiduciary duty charges.
