State Bar won’t create CARE Court committee yet
“We’re going to keep monitoring it depending on what recommendations come out in January and February,” said executive committee member Erica M. Connolly of the state’s Office of the Attorney General. “We’ll make a recommendation in March about whether there should be a further committee and we’ll do whatever preparation is necessary to further empower that committee.”

The Legal Services Trust Fund Commission Executive Committee met Tuesday regarding funding opportunities for the Community, Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Court program, deciding not to create a formal commission to approve the receiving of funds for the program, and agreeing to work to potentially create a commission by March.
