Former Apple employee confesses to bilking company of $17 million

Dhirendra Prasad, a buyer for the company for 10 years, took a kickback from Apple’s vendors.

A former employee of Apple Inc. pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal conspiracy and fraud charges for taking roughly $17 million in kickbacks from the technology company’s vendors.
