State Bar commission to try again to finalize non-exam licensure pathway proposal

The commission has been working for months to determine the feasibility of a non-exam pathway, after several low bar exam passage results over the last few years.

The Blue Ribbon Commission on the Future of the Bar Exam intend to try again to finalize a proposal for a non-exam pathway to attorney licensure on Thursday.

The commission has been working for months to determine the feasibility of a non-exam pathway, after several low bar exam passage results over the last few years. The February 2022 bar exam pass rate was 33.9% of 3,113 students.
