LA County supervisors OK nearly $48M in sheriff settlements
A representative for Sheriff Alex Villanueva, who is in a tight race for reelection next Tuesday, did not respond to a request for comment. Villanueva has been in verbal combat with the county supervisors since he was elected four years ago.
