$13.5M Amyris securities class settlement approved

U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers said Tuesday the settlement seemed appropriate and she would issue a written order. She approved plaintiffs’ counsel’s request for 25% of the settlement in fees and $360,000 in costs.

A federal judge granted final approval for a $13.5 million settlement to resolve securities class claims against the biotech company Amyris Inc., which says it specializes in products for health and wellness, beauty, flavor and fragrance.
