Google opposes 6th amending of free speech labor lawsuit

At a case management conference Tuesday alongside its co-defendant, Adecco USA Inc. — a staffing agency that provided Google with temporary employees who were subject to the company’s speech policies — attorneys for Google argued that the plaintiffs should not be granted leave to amend their complaint for a sixth time.

Google Inc. argued that a lawsuit filed by former employees claiming the company’s policies improperly restrict speech is “at a crossroads” nearly six years after the original complaint was filed.
