Walgreens settles wage and hour claims for $10.8M
“The settlement occurred as a result of extensive, arms-length negotiations by experienced counsel after sufficient formal and informal written discovery and investigation into the facts with guidance of Michael E. Dickstein, an experienced and well-respected class action mediator,” wrote Shaun Setareh and William M. Pao of Setareh Law Group in Beverly Hills.




Walgreens Co. has agreed to pay $10.8 million to a class of 28,000 former employees that alleged wage and hour violations.
Attorneys for each side appeared before Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Lucas on Wednesday to ask for preliminary approval of the settlement terms.
