Bar glitch lets exam takers see results 24 hours early

The anonymous post Wednesday night — far ahead of the official release of the results on Thursday evening — gave specific instructions on how individuals could see their results early.

California Bar Exam takers were able to see whether they passed or failed the July 2022 test at least 24 hours ahead of time after an anonymous Reddit post revealed a vulnerability in the website that allowed students to see whether they passed or failed on their status page through the site’s HTML source code.
