California sues DuPont and 3M over ‘PFA’ chemicals
Attorney General Rob Bonta accused several companies of actively covering up the potentially harmful effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS. DuPont and 3M denied the allegations.




California Attorney General Rob Bonta sued DuPont, 3M, and other manufacturers, saying they knowingly produced and sold products such as firefighting foam containing potentially harmful “forever chemicals” that he said carry significant danger to public health and the state’s natural resources.
