Sacramento water district can sue over contamination, judge rules
Chief U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller ruled defendants’ motion to dismiss lacked personal jurisdiction, but said they could refile because the issue is unsettled.
A federal judge declined to dismiss the Sacramento Suburban Water District’s claims against 3M Co., E.I. Du Pont De Nemours and Co. and The Chemours Co., a DuPont subsidiary, over alleged contamination in drinking water.
