Broncos linebacker sues NFL, ESPN over slip and fall at Sofi Stadium

While involved in a tackle after a punt during overtime of the Oct. 17 game, linebacker Aaron Patrick said he suffered a season-ending severe injury to his ACL when attempting to tackle Los Angeles Chargers player DeAndre Carter, according to a complaint filed by Berman & Riedel LLP founding partner William M. Berman.

A linebacker for the Denver Broncos sued the National Football League and Inglewood’s Sofi Stadium for improper placement of mats along the sidelines that he said caused him to fall and tear his ACL.
