Google and developers ask judge again to OK $90M settlement
His do-over occurred because U.S. District Judge James Donato reserved judgment pending submission of a supplemental plan that would “drive participation in the settlement above the 13% rate plaintiffs had anticipated” and provide “additional methods of notice that will leverage the direct relationship defendant Google has with proposed class members.”




Google LLC and play store developers are asking a judge a second time for preliminary approval for a $90 million settlement to resolve antitrust allegations that Google monopolized relevant markets for Android app stores and used that market power to charge developers supracompetitive service fees.
