LA County attorneys argue for immigration judges union
Abiel Garcia and Majed Dakak of Kesselman Brantly Stockinger LLP in Manhattan Beach said they were suspicious that after the Department of Justice petitioned in July 2020, explaining that “IJs are not management officials within the meaning of section 7103(a) (11) of the [Federal Service Labor-Management Relations] Statute,” the labor relations panel voted 2-1, the day before the 2000 election.




Two Manhattan Beach attorneys argued for the National Association of Immigration Judges in a Washington, D. C. appellate court that the 600 jurists should be able to bargain collectively, and procedures over the past two years to strip them of union rights were improper.
