Dropping LSAT requirement might make process harder for students
The ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar approved a change in standards affecting the requirement that law schools have a “valid and reliable’ test,” Bill Adams, managing director of the ABA accreditation and legal education, said Monday.




An American Bar Association council’s proposal to drop the Law School Admission Test as a requirement for accredited law schools has attorneys on both sides citing diversity and the effects on students as their reasons for and against the change.
It will be voted on in February, and if approved, would not take effect until 2025.
