Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund claims its defenses against the jurisdiction of U.S. courts are endangered by the PGA Tour insisting on subpoenas and court orders to settle a discovery dispute instead of voluntary cooperation.
The dispute stems from a lawsuit against the PGA filed by leading golfers who were banned from all PGA events after deciding to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Inc. Tour in March.
