Progressive DAs did better in other states than in California

Changes in California’s elections system might help progressive DAs.

Someone moving from California to Texas might find a bit of a surprise — a more liberal district attorney than the one they left behind. Progressive prosecutors won races in more conservative states such as Texas and Oklahoma, even while their numbers dropped in the Golden State.
