UCLA, UC Irvine law schools join US News rankings boycott

At least half the 20 highest ranked schools in U.S. News rankings have chosen to boycott the system due to objections to the methodology.

UCLA and UC Irvine law schools have announced they will cease cooperating with U.S. News & World Report college rankings, following in the steps of other California universities UC Berkeley and Stanford.

At least half the 20 highest-ranked schools in U.S. News rankings have chosen to boycott the rankings system due to objections to the methodology. They include Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, Michigan, Duke and Northwestern.
