$25M suit against LA County over police sergeant’s murder
“Justin Flores was using drugs, was in possession of a gun and … he had beaten a woman — all probation violations that were never reported to local law enforcement,” stated the complaint filed by Mark J. Peacock of Peacock & Bartlett a.p.c.




The widow of a slain police sergeant filed a $25 million lawsuit Tuesday against Los Angeles County, its Probation Department and district attorney, claiming they did nothing to stop an armed recidivist gang member from roaming the streets in violation of court orders.
