Judiciary Committee OKs 9th Circuit, 2 District Court judges
Thursday’s vote advanced to the Senate floor Montana professor Anthony D. Johnstone for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals; Araceli Martinez-Olguin, supervising attorney of the National Immigration Law Center, for a Northern District of California vacancy; and Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Daniel J. Calabretta for a seat on the Eastern District of California bench.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to approve the nomination of University of Montana professor Anthony D. Johnstone to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, along with two California district court judge nominees.
