Activision says agency is waging ‘media war’ to force deal on discrimination claims

The California Civil Rights Department “orchestrated a comprehensive media campaign in an attempt to bullrush the company into settling its lawsuit using allegations that the agency knew were unsustainable at trial,” Christophe E. Skinnell wrote in the complaint.

An attorney for video game maker Activision Blizzard is suing the California Civil Rights Department to get communications that the company contends prove the agency engaged in a “media war” to force settlement of a sexual discrimination and harassment case.
