A federal judge who previously ruled in favor of the U.S. Soccer Federation signed off on a $24 million settlement against it in a hearing Monday in an unequal pay lawsuit brought by women’s national team players.
However, U.S. District Judge R. Gary Klausner asked for more briefing on an objection to $2 million in attorney fees. It was raised by counsel for Hope Solo Stevens, a former goalkeeper for the team.
