Google scores 2 victories in browser class actions

In one case, U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in Oakland issued an order granting Google’s motion for summary judgment and denying plaintiffs’ motion for class certification. She ruled that the data collection at issue is not specific to the Chrome browser but all Google features, meaning this situation falls under Google’s general privacy policies.

Google LLC scored a pair of big victories in class actions regarding the company’s Chrome browser.
