Supreme Court takes up Slack’s circuit split appeal on standing
“Because stocks are traded across the country, plaintiffs can pick whatever forum they like, and they will now pick only the 9th Cir-cuit when suing under Sections 11 and 12,” Slack Technologies said in its writ of certiorari.




The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday said it would review whether an investor has standing to sue messaging service Slack over alleged misleading registration statements for 250,000 shares he purchased in 2019.
