Ralph Astor Lombardi, 1945-2022
He tried cases for clients, big and small, famous, and infamous. This included product liability cases for automakers, and complex sports related litigation for professional football teams, including the Raiders. More than one lawyer commented upon his charming demeanor and referred to him as “the Godfather” of Bay Area, trial lawyers, ABOTA said in a statement.
Ralph A. Lombardi, a veteran Bay Area litigator who developed a successful mediation career later in life at ADR Services Inc., has died. He was 77.
Lombardi passed away Tuesday following a brief illness.
Lombardi was described by friends and colleagues as the epitome of a professional. He was known for his kindness and honesty in and out of the courtroom, they said.
