Gordon Rees team wins for UC against fired professor

The UC's legal team from Gordon & Rees LLP -- led by Bay Area Managing Partner Marie Holvick and San Francisco Partner Amber Eklof spoke about the difficulty of trying this employment discrimination case with an investigation into sex harassment allegations as the backdrop. They achieved the defense win in the Alameda County Superior Court.

The Regents of the University of California secured a victory in a lawsuit by a former assistant professor who claimed that UC Berkeley discriminated against him and his mental health disability when he was fired in May 2017 following an investigation into sexual harassment allegations against him by four students.
