Altria, continuing its defense, wants Juul to reveal settlement details
Altria, the maker of Marlboro cigarettes, has a 35% stake in Juul. Altria was not a party to Juul’s settlement, and remains a defendant in mass tort litigation. Plaintiffs allege that Altria conspired with Juul and violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act by marketing electronic cigarettes to minors.
