Musk says hiring Perkins Coie was an error, won't be repeated
Musk recently criticized the firm because of a Justice Department investigation into former partner Michael A. Sussmann’s claims that he was not tied to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. In May, Sussmann was acquitted of charges stemming from an allegation by then-U.S. attorney John Durham that Sussman lied about representing the Clinton campaign in a September 2016 meeting with general counsel from the FBI.




Twitter Inc. CEO Elon Musk stated days ago that the company’s recent retention of two attorneys from Perkins Coie LLP — a firm which Musk has publicly denounced in tweets — in a lawsuit brought by former Republican congressional candidate Laura Loomer was an “error” that won’t be repeated.
