The automobile manufacturer has denied that its DPS6 transmission compromises the safety or reliability of its cars.

Ford Motor Co. is facing a bellwether lemon law trial in federal court in Los Angeles after it was sued by the owner of a 2013 Ford Fiesta that allegedly had a faulty PowerShift transmission.
