Former Trellis executive denies abusing girlfriend/partner

“I had to say, ‘Look, here’s what it is.’ When you have a one-pound orange, you can’t squeeze two pounds of juice out of it,” explained software engineer Andrew Thaler.

The former chief technology officer of legal database Trellis Law told a Los Angeles jury Friday that the company’s president, also his ex-girlfriend, lied to them about a purported instance of verbal abuse in front of other employees.
