Jury to begin deliberations in dispute over Trellis Law

In closing arguments Monday, lawyers for the co-founders painted a picture of a toxic personal and professional relationship that led to one of them being ousted from the company.

State trial database Trellis Law uses “absolutely nothing” that its former head engineer produced for it, the attorney for the company’s president told a Los Angeles County Superior Court jury in his closing statement Monday. But according to the attorney for software engineer Andrew Thaler, former attorney Nicole A. Clark “stole the baby. She chopped him off at the knees, pulled the rug out from under him, and took what he created.”
