Bar seeks to discipline Trump adviser Eastman
Eastman denied the allegations in a Substack post, saying the complaint the bar received was “full of falsehoods” and accusing the agency of succumbing to political pressure. He said he had cooperated with the bar’s investigation, which was announced in March, though Eastman said such actions are only to be taken when it is determined that the subject is a danger to the public.





The State Bar filed 11 disciplinary charges Thursday against former Chapman University Fowler School of Law professor John C. Eastman, accusing him of helping President Donald Trump in an alleged attempt to overturn the “results of the 2020 presidential election by obstructing the count of electoral votes of certain states.”
