Bail bond loan signers to get $21.5M in payments canceled
According to a motion for preliminary approval filed by plaintiffs’ lead counsel Julian Hammond of Hammond Law PC in Seattle, All-Pro Bail Bonds Inc. has agreed to a permanent injunction. The deal would prevent it from seeking the outstanding balances due and require it to pay $2.3 million in cash to the 38,000 plaintiffs to settle claims that the loans violated state contract and unfair competition law due to lack of notice.




More than 38,000 non-spousal co-signers for bond loans asked a Santa Clara County judge Wednesday to approve a settlement that would bar All-Pro Bail Bonds Inc. from recovering $21.5 million in outstanding payments.
