William C. Vickrey, who served nearly two decades as administrative director of the Judicial Council of California until retiring in 2011, died Tuesday in Utah from an undisclosed illness. He was 75.
Vickrey served three California Chief Justices — Malcolm Lucas, Ronald M. George and Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye.
