State to get $215M from Centene Corp. over Medi-Cal claims

California’s agreement is the latest for the insurer, which has settled about a dozen similar accusations.

The California Attorney General’s office announced on Wednesday that it had reached a settlement of $215 million with Centene Corp., which was accused of overcharging the state’s Medi-Cal program.
