Committee passes 9th circuit, district judge nominees

A vote on the nomination of Ramsey & Ehrlich LLP white collar defense attorney Ismail J. “Izzy” Ramsey to be the next U.S. attorney in San Francisco was postponed following objections by U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee.

President Joe Biden’s nominee for a vacancy on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals was approved Thursday by the Senate Judiciary Committee, along with six district judges for California.
