Motion: Lawyer should be fined $75K for calling opponent racist
The dispute errupted in a trademark dispute over teh Bratz doll line. One attorney used a racial slur quoting rap lyrics.
Lawyers for toy manufacturer MGA Entertainment Inc. have urged a federal judge to impose a $75,000 fine on the opposing counsel at Winston & Strawn LLP for alleged unprofessional conduct, including accusations of racism, that led to a mistrial last month.
