The Commission on Judicial Appointments unanimously confirmed Shama Mesiwala, a Sacramento County Superior Court judge, to the appellate court.
New 3rd District Court of Appeal Justice Shama H. Mesiwala said she was “both excited and nervous” as she was sworn in Tuesday by Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero after confirmation by the Commission on Judicial Nominations.
