PG&E pleads not guilty in Zogg Fire, trial scheduled for June
The utility stated Wednesday that neither the company nor any of its employees committed any crimes. Among the charges filed are four counts of involuntary manslaughter; one for each of the people who died in the fire that burned over 56,000 acres in 2020.




Pacific Gas & Electric Co. attorneys entered not guilty pleas to all criminal charges on behalf of the utility, which faces trial June 6 over the cause of the 2020 Zogg Fire, at an arraignment Wednesday in Shasta County Superior Court.
