Trial set on remaining charges against former bar executive

State Bar Court Judge Yvette D. Roland ruled Thursday she wants to see a motion to compel Munger Tolles & Olson LLP to produce interview notes, memos and other material it used to prepare the report that led to Dunn’s firing. And if the bar doesn’t produce them, she said that would be an important consideration in whether to dismiss the remaining charges.

Former State Bar executive director Joe Dunn has an April trial date on charges that he misled the agency about funding for a trip to Mongolia in 2014, but the judge said Thursday a serious matter of discovery could lead to complete dismissal.
